In March 2016 Wouter van Leengoed and Stijn Leijdekkers will participate in the Antwerp Banjul Challenge. This is an alternative Dakar Rally with a humanitarian mission.
The journey of 7,500 kilometers goes from Netherlands to Gambia. A month long they will be traveling in a Nissan Patrol SUV. Across mountains, deserts and the beach. The SUV and medical supplies will be donated to a hospital in Bondali Jola Village in The Gambia. The hospital has about 100 patients per week and there is an urgent need for a 4×4 ambulance for patient transportation. The car is therefore going to be used as an ambulance.
TrustLube wishes Stijn and Wouter good luck during this adventurous journey.
